GLENDALE, Ariz. -- A man attending the Raiders preseason football game against the Arizona Cardinals was shot in the face during an altercation in the parking lot Friday, a Phoenix television station reported.
Police told station KABC that the incident occurred near the Hampton Inn, a hotel near University of Phoenix Stadium, where the Raiders lost to Cardinals, 31-27, Friday.
The 30-year-old victim suffered life-threatening injuries, police told the station. He was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.
No other injuries were reported.
